The EI15TC65HS is Electrolux ICON’s version of the 15-inch compactor, built into a deeper 24-inch cabinet than the E15TC75 series and using a Luxury-Glide full-extension bin in place of the standard drawer glides. A bin that binds partway out is checked at those glides first, since they are a different mechanism from the E15TC75 series’ drawer track.
A key lock that won’t engage, or that engages but doesn’t stop the control panel from starting a cycle, points to the lock switch itself rather than the motor — Electrolux built the lock to interrupt the same circuit the start button uses, so a worn switch can either block a legitimate start or fail to block one it should.
