The ED152L6 is a compressor-based Electrolux dehumidifier: a small sealed system chills a coil, a fan draws room air across it, and the water that condenses out drains into a removable bucket or out through an optional continuous-drain hose. A unit that runs but pulls little or no water from the air points to the sealed system rather than the fan, since airflow across a coil that isn’t cold won’t condense anything no matter how strong the fan is.
The bucket-full sensor is a simple float switch, separate from the refrigerant side of the unit, and it is checked first on an ED152L6 that won’t start at all — a float that’s stuck or sitting slightly out of position can shut the whole unit down even with an empty bucket reseated correctly.
