What 11 / 14 Means
On Electrolux induction ranges the cooktop control shows its own numeric codes. 11 is a jammed key and 14 means the touch panel tail, the ribbon connection, is missing. The manual first asks for a check that nothing lies on the touch area, then a power reset, then the harness between the ESEC board and the touch panel.
Common Causes of 11 / 14
- Utensil, pan handle or spill on the touch area
- Touch panel ribbon loose
- Touch panel or ESEC board failed
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Clear utensils, cloths and spills off the glass above the touch keys. Switch off the breaker for 30 seconds and restore it.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The touch panel is under the glass; the glass must be lifted.
- Ribbon connectors are fragile.
