What i30 Means
i30 means water has been detected in the bottom pan under the tub by the Aqua Control sensor. The drain pump runs continuously to empty the tub. Electrolux’s service list says to check for loose sump hoses or leaks in the sump area, that the overflow float is low and moves freely, and for soil build-up in the sump; the use and care guide adds loose inlet valve connections and a level install.
Common Causes of i30
- Hand-washing liquid used by mistake, causing suds overflow
- Loose sump hose or leaking seal
- Leak at the inlet valve connection
- Dishwasher not level
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Switch off the breaker and close the water shutoff. Check that the dishwasher is level and that you used dishwasher detergent only; hand-dish soap makes suds that overflow into the base. After a leak, the base pan has to dry out before the code clears, which can take a day or more.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Finding the leak means removing the toe kick and often sliding the dishwasher out.
- Running it with water in the base can damage the floor and cabinets.
