What i5C / i5D Means
These are the drain pump’s high-current codes. i5C is abnormal high current of about 0.7 amps detected by the hardware; i5D is current above the software limit of 0.55 amps. The drain pump is drawing more than it should.

- Object in the drain pump
- Drain pump motor failing
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Clean the filter and sump and look into the drain pump opening in the sump for a lemon seed, label or glass shard.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The drain pump is removed from below the tub.
- Hardware current trips repeat until the cause is found.
