What F15 Means
F15 on Electrolux induction ranges means the oven control self-check failed or a thermal cutoff is open. If the cooktop control shows E15 at the same time, the service manual calls it a strong sign that the safety thermostat inside the front console opened, usually because the cooling fan is not doing its job. Otherwise F15 can mean the control is not getting a synchronization signal from the relay board.

- Cooling fan not running
- Relay board not sending the sync signal
- Oven control failed
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Switch off the breaker and let the range cool. Make sure nothing blocks the vents along the front console or under the oven door, and do not run the oven and all burners at maximum for long periods.

- A console that overheats can damage the electronics; the fan must be fixed before the thermostat is reset.
- Sync-signal checks are made at relay board connectors with 120 V present.
