What F92 Means
F92 means the maximum oven door open time was exceeded. Along with the lock checks, Electrolux asks for a check of the oven door light switch for F92, F93 and F94; an open switch makes the control think the door is open.
Common Causes of F92
- Door light switch open
- Door not closing fully
- Lock switch misreading
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Make sure the door is closed and nothing prevents it from shutting fully, such as a rack not pushed in. Reset at the breaker.

- The door switch is mounted in the oven front frame.
- Switch testing needs the range powered down and panels removed.
