What F93 Means
F93 means the maximum oven door lock time was exceeded: the motor ran to lock the door and the switch did not confirm locked within the time allowed. Electrolux checks the micro switch, latch binding, lock motor coil and door light switch.
Common Causes of F93
- Lock motor not reaching the locked position
- Micro switch failed
- Door switch open

Cancel self-clean, let the oven cool and reset at the breaker. Do not force the door.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The lock assembly and switches are behind the top panel.
- Self-clean without a confirmed lock is unsafe.
