What HE Means
A steady HE in a cooktop display when the zone is cold and switched off points at a coil temperature sensor defect on Electrolux induction ranges. The manual tests the coil sensor at about 1,000 ohms at room temperature and replaces the coil or the generator board.

- Coil temperature sensor failed
- Generator board failure
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Make sure the zone really is cold. A hot-surface indicator after cooking is normal and goes out as the glass cools.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The coil is replaced from under the glass.
- Generator boards need safe handling.
