What EA2 / EA3 Means
EA2 means the supply voltage is too high and EA3 means it is too low. Electrolux groups them under test 12: have the power company check the incoming voltage; if it is within limits, replace the main board.
Common Causes of EA2 / EA3
- Extension cord or long thin run dropping voltage (EA3)
- Utility supply high or low
- Loose house neutral giving unstable voltage
- Main board voltage sensing failed
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Plug the washer straight into a dedicated receptacle and remove any extension cord or adapter. Low voltage often shows up as lights dimming when the washer spins.
