What E91 Means
E91 is a communication error between the electronic control board and the interface board behind the console. Electrolux lists wiring, the control board or the interface board as possible causes and says to check the connections first.
Common Causes of E91
- Loose harness between the control and interface boards
- Interface board failed
- Control board communication circuit failed
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Switch off the dryer’s power for a minute and restart. If the dryer was recently moved or stacked, a connector may have been disturbed, which is worth mentioning.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The console must be opened to reach the interface board connectors.
- The wrong board swapped first wastes money.
