What F Means
A flashing F in a cook zone display on an Electrolux induction cooktop means the pan was not detected, and the pan does not heat. Electrolux lists unsuitable cookware, a pan too small for the zone, and, less often, a coil that is not correctly connected or sits too far below the glass.
Common Causes of F
- Pan not induction-compatible
- Pan too small for the zone
- Coil connection loose
- Coil not touching the glass
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Hold a magnet to the bottom of the pan; if it does not stick firmly, the pan will not work on induction. Center the pan and use a zone that suits its size.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Coil connections are under the glass.
- Coil position must be restored when the top is refitted.
