What Er 07 / Er 11 / Er 12 Means
All three concern the drain valve. Er 07: in drain mode the control has not received proper position feedback from the drain valve. Er 11: a time-out before finding a state for the drain valve. Er 12: the drain valve is running when it should be off, which Electrolux says could be a shorted part.
Common Causes of Er 07 / Er 11 / Er 12
- Drain valve motor or position switch failed
- Drain valve jammed with debris
- Short in the drain valve circuit (Er 12)
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Check for standing water after a cycle and clean the filter. Reset at the breaker. If Er 12 appears, switch the breaker off rather than restarting.

- The drain valve is under the tub.
- A short can damage the control if ignored.
