What i50 Means
i50 means a problem was detected with the drain or wash motor, in the words of the Electrolux use and care guide. The unit shuts off and shows the code. In service mode the i50 family splits into more than a dozen codes, i51 through i5F, covering both pumps’ current, speed, voltage and plug connection.
Common Causes of i50
- Wash or drain pump jammed by debris
- Motor harness connection loose
- Wash or drain motor failed
- Motor control board problem
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Press Cancel, then switch off the breaker for five minutes and restart, as the use and care guide suggests. Check the filter for glass or a bone that could jam the pump. If i50 comes back, book service.
