What iF1 Means
iF1 is a high water level code: the safety level was exceeded for more than four seconds. The dishwasher drains until the level is below the safety point, and the program only continues after that.
Common Causes of iF1
- Foam from the wrong detergent
- Fill valve not closing fully
- Level sensing problem
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Check for suds. Hand dish soap or too much rinse aid can foam and raise the level. Use only automatic dishwasher detergent.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- A leaking fill valve needs replacing under the toe kick.
- Repeated high-level events risk overflow into the base pan.
