What E54 Means
E54 is a motor sensing failure. Electrolux’s tech sheet attributes it to the electronic control board and gives a single action: replace the control board and retest.

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Unplug the dryer for one minute to reset it and try an empty timed cycle. If E54 returns, book service; there is no owner check for a board sensing circuit.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The board is replaced as a unit and must match the model.
- Wiring should still be looked at to avoid damaging a new board.
