What F12 Means
F12 means bad micro identification: the oven control could not confirm its own processor identity at start-up. Electrolux’s owner guide calls it micro identification; the service action is to disconnect power for 30 seconds and, if the code returns on power-up, replace the electronic oven control.

Switch off the range breaker for 30 seconds and back on. That is the only owner step.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The control is replaced as a unit from behind the backguard or front panel.
- Replacement must match the range model and serial range.
