What F31 Means
F31 is a shorted probe connection. Electrolux’s service literature says that if the sensor reads less than 500 ohms at room temperature it should be replaced, and the harness checked for a short between the control and the sensor connector.
Common Causes of F31
- Oven sensor shorted
- Sensor harness pinched against the cabinet

Reset at the breaker. If F31 returns, book service.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- A shorted sensor can make the oven underheat or refuse to start.
- The harness runs behind insulation at the rear of the oven.
