What E 31 Means
E 31 is an internal generator sync error in the three-zone module, on the left-side cooking zones. The generator board drives the coils; Electrolux tests the cables to the left generator board (dual) and then replaces it.
Common Causes of E 31
- Left generator board failure
- Loose connection on the generator board

Reset at the breaker for 30 seconds. Use the right-hand zones if they still work.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Generator boards handle high power and voltage.
- Access means removing the cooktop from the counter.
