What H Means
H in a zone display is normally the hot-surface indicator after cooking. Electrolux’s service manual lists a steady H when the zone is cold and switched off as a temperature sensor defect.

- Residual heat (normal)
- Zone temperature sensor failure (if the zone is cold)

Wait for the glass to cool. If H stays on a zone that has not been used for hours, book service.
