The EIED55H is an 8.0 cu. ft. IQ-Touch electric dryer, and its tech data sheet lists more than thirty codes with resistance values for each thermistor. The outlet thermistor should read 4.9 to 6.2 kilohms at room temperature and the inlet 47 to 66 kilohms, which lets us test both without guessing.
Most EIED55H heating complaints trace back to airflow: a vent that is too long or crushed trips the high limit, and repeated trips set E65.
