The EIMED55I is the I-generation IQ-Touch electric dryer with steam, so unlike a basic dryer it has a water connection. When steam cycles stop producing steam, the supply hose and its screen are checked before the steam valve.
A heavy wet load such as a rubber-backed rug can stall the EIMED55I motor, and Electrolux notes the motor’s thermal protector can take up to 30 minutes to reset.
