What E 30 / E 70 Means

E 30 and E 70 mean the AC input voltage is too high at the three-zone induction module of the Icon 36-inch cooktop. The service steps: verify the voltage at the cooktop input, verify the main input cables, screws and jumpers, then replace the filter board in the three-zone module.

Common Causes of E 30 / E 70

  • High supply voltage
  • Loose input screw or jumper
  • Filter board sensing failure

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try

If the house has other signs of high voltage, such as bulbs burning out quickly, mention it. Otherwise reset at the breaker.

⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That

  • Input terminal checks are 240 V work.
  • The filter board is inside the induction module under the cooktop.

Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
