What EA1 Means
EA1 means the main supply frequency is out of range. Electrolux’s tech sheet points to the line frequency or a misbehaving control board and says to check the frequency of the line voltage.
Common Causes of EA1
- Generator or inverter power
- Utility supply problem
- Control board sensing circuit
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
If you are running on a generator, wait for utility power. On utility power, reset the dryer once.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Line frequency is measured with proper instruments.
- A board replaced for a supply problem will throw the same code.
