What High Temp Means
The HIGH TEMP light on an Icon all-freezer comes on when the cabinet exceeds 23 F; after one hour the alarm sounds and the cabinet temperature is displayed. The alarm stays active until the temperature drops below 23 F again.
Common Causes of High Temp
- Door left open or not sealing
- Large warm load added
- Cooling problem
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Check the door is closed and the gasket seals. Avoid loading a large amount of unfrozen food at once. Silence the tone with ALARM OFF and give the freezer time to recover.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- If the door is fine and the alarm repeats, the fan, defrost or sealed system needs a technician.
- Refrigerant work requires EPA-certified handling.
