What F3 Means
F3 on older Icon wall ovens is an oven probe group: an open or shorted RTD sensor (F31), abusive operation tripping the safety thermostat, or a safety thermostat opened because the cooling fan stalled. The manual notes the control may first show F1, thinking a runaway exists. The RTD reads about 1,000 ohms at 32 F.

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Let the oven cool and restart the function. Listen for the cooling fan when the oven is hot; if it is silent, mention it.

- Sensor and fan are behind panels of a built-in oven.
- A stalled cooling fan can overheat the control area.
