The EIGD55H is the gas version of the early IQ-Touch dryer, rated at 8.0 cu. ft. On a gas model the tech sheet checks both the outlet and the inlet thermal limiters when E66 appears, because either can open after an overheat.
A gas EIGD55H that tumbles but never heats is checked at the igniter glow and the valve coils; that part of the repair involves the gas burner and is not for owners.
