What Er 08 Means
Er 08 is the tactile or touch switch code. The control has verified that a switch on the user interface is bad or shorted.
Common Causes of Er 08
- Touch key shorted
- Moisture on the panel
- User interface board failed

Wipe the control panel dry and make sure nothing presses against it. Reset at the breaker.

- The interface is inside the door top.
- Replacement must match the model.
