What Hd / HO Means
Hd or HO means the dishwasher is in Heat Delay or Heater On mode, warming the water to the target temperature before continuing. Electrolux’s guide says this typically takes about 1 to 2 minutes for each degree of temperature rise.

- Incoming water cooler than the cycle needs
- Sanitize or high-temperature option selected
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Run the kitchen tap until it is hot before starting a cycle; the less the dishwasher has to heat, the shorter the Hd/HO pause.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Nothing to repair unless the pause never ends.
- If Hd/HO lasts far longer than expected, the heater may be weak and service is worthwhile.
