What i10 Means
i10 means a low fill: the water level was not reached within the time allowed after the fill valve opened. The use and care guide points owners to a pinched supply line or a shutoff valve that is not fully open. The service manual adds that the dishwasher drains before showing the code, and the normal limit is 90 seconds.
Common Causes of i10
- Shutoff valve partly closed
- Supply line kinked or pinched
- Fill valve screen clogged
- Fill valve not opening electrically
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Open the shutoff valve under the sink fully; it is often the small valve on the hot line. Look for a supply tube kinked behind the toe kick. Then press Cancel, or switch the breaker off for five minutes as Electrolux suggests, and start again.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The fill valve is behind the toe kick on a 120 V circuit with water under pressure.
- A new supply line must be connected without leaks under the cabinet.
