What PF Means
PF means loss of power. Electrolux’s owner guide says the unit has lost power and asks the owner to press START/CANCEL to clear the display and begin a new cycle.
Common Causes of PF
- Power outage
- Breaker tripped briefly
- Loose junction box connection
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Press START/CANCEL, then reselect the cycle and options. If PF appears often without a known outage, check whether the circuit breaker is tripping or a switch controls the dishwasher outlet.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Repeated PF without outages points at wiring, which is electrical work.
- The junction box is under the dishwasher.
